  The Kitty is an unpretentious place to go drink and dance. It’s the most queer friendly club in Santa Barbara, and Sunday nights are designated queer night (though the person next to you is as likely to be straight as they are lgbt). It’s got a diverse crowd, good drinks, pretty go-go girls, and plenty of dancing. The bouncers were quick to get rid of a guy harassing my friends. The Bobcat room (an attached lounge) is a nice addition but really, if you’re not going to get amped up and dance why are you here?

  If I could give less than 1 Star I would! DO NOT GO THERE! They play descent music, however, this is the only club in SB that hosts a GAY night and when I was there a security guard kept harassing me for no apparent reason. Aside from their $10+ cover charge, there is always 7+ cops waiting outside the door to arrest people coming out for “drunk in public” charges. DISCRIMINATORY af! I repeat! DO NOT GO THERE unless you want to get a court date and have to pay a $500+ fine. No other club/bar has cops waiting outside in Santa Barbara, but WILD CAT!
