  I have the highest regard for Hans Pukke as an artist and craftsman in wood. I have had some guitar repairs done by him, and have visited his studio, where his tools and choice woods are much in evidence. Speaking with him reveals his depth of knowledge of guitar history and lutherie. He is the real thing! And the dry climate of Santa Barbara is a very wise place to build guitars, if you want to avoid cracks later.
